Greenland 2008

Pete Mäkelä and Pete Vuorenmaa skied across Greenland during spring and summer. Their starting point was Narsarsuaq, located at southern Greenland. Mäkelä and Vuorenmaa travelled three months to north Greenland, Qaanaaq, where they arrived in mid-July.

The expedition was "unsupported". All the movement was done either by skiing or by using kites. The weight of the sledges at start was around 175 kg each.
