The Team

Petri Mäkelä, Seppo Virtanen and Olli-Pekka Lahti have been hiking together over twenty years. They have done dozens of hiking trips to Lapland. They have also skied across Island. Mäkelä and Virtanen crossed The Gulf of Botnia. Mäkelä was one of two the man expedition, that crossed the ice cap of Greenland in spring 2003.

Vesa Luomala and Sami Nytorp have done several hiking trips to the North Calotte Area. The members met each other for the first time in March 2003. Since then there has been many meetings and exercise camps that have been preparing the group to the journey taking them to the northest shores in the world.
