SASTA Everest - shell jacket SASTA Storm - shell ski pants

Sasta Oy (limited company) has for years made product development at the area of demanding expedition clothing. This has produced the superior clothes, which are now used at Svalbard 2005 expedition. Sasta Everest shell jacket and Sasta storm shell trousers are the base of our clothing. They are equippe with Gore-Tex 3L XCR coating. Some particulars of these clothes are: waterproof zips, zips at underarm, specially sculptured hood. Trousers have zips that go from ancle to waistline, snow locks, straps with velcro adjustment and specially shielded fly.

RUSKOVILLA Forest underwear

Underwear made by Ruskovilla was obvious from the beginning. It has won first prices in several outdoor magazine tests and many previous expeditions have chosen it. Forest has went through many development steps and it has not changed during the last few years. It is made of 100% wool of merino. Normal wool 7 coarser than this. Merino wool neutralizes sweat smell and keeps one warm also when it is wet. Some particulars: seamless shoulders, long collar with shielded zip, at wrist there is a hole for thumb. Underwear pants have double knitting at knees and crutch, at legs long, flexible part.

BRIDGEDALE Coolmax liner and GTX Summit socks

Bridgedale socks are also one of those you don't have to argue about. They are simply the best for expedition usage. Coolmax liner is very good in transferring moisture from the skin to the uppper levels, and for this reason it is great for avoiding abrasions. GTX summit keeps the leg warm with it's woolen structure, although the moisture coming from lower levels goes through it.

SASTA Sierra fleece jacket

Sierra fleece is a multipurpose jacket, which can be as it is or as a thermal under the shell jacket. It is made of imposing Polartec 200 Thermal Pro material an has been finished DWR (Durable Water Repellent) technic. We will use it mainly in tent.

SASTA Nova fuzz jacket

Usage of fuzz jacket is the base for safety, comfort and practicality, which is difficult to compensate with other products. It's most important feature is to keep explorer warm during the break or while putting up the tent. The filling of Sasta Nova is 80% fuzz and 20% feather.
